Kids Camp and Covasna Flooding

We were excited to be invited to a fun afternoon activity with an NGO we work with. They look forward to this all year. Although it was a hot day, they enjoyed some fun activities at a local park.

We heard of flooding happening at a central Romanian town called Covasna and so we walked to ADRA to meet with them. They planned a trip there to deliver goods. We offered to use humanitarian funds to buy hygiene kits and food staples. They were pleasantly surprised.

Our missionaries joined a van full of members from Brasov to deliver the packaged goods to those displaced from the flooding. Most of the beneficiaries lived in a Hungarian community, which threw one missionary off. He said, "I've been here for 20 months and I don't understand any of this!" He was relieved to hear it was Hungarian.

The Church donated 3 tons of food and cleaning supplies, ADRA packaged it up, and we partnered to deliver it. That is how it works!
