Down the road was an outdoor market selling clothes and hats. Since Paul is looking for a fur hat, he tried on a few.
In the evening we joined the missionaries and some friends for a game of Skull King.
Sitting across from me was Cristi. We laughed a bit about that. His name is from Cristian and I'm from Kristen, which both sound the same.
Elder Anderson killed us. He bid 0 for each round and only lost 1 hand. Almost a perfect score!
Since it was International Women's Day, I asked if we could bring flowers to the sisters in the branch. So we left for the store and picked up some hyacinths. They smell so beautiful.
Walking to the building I saw this abandoned house with vines growing from the inside out.
The three-story church building is quite large for the small congregation. I was able to play the piano, hand out hyacinths, and enjoy a luncheon after the conference.
During Come Follow Me discussions I really saw how well the young elders were doing. They really impressed me with their leadership. This is Elder Barrick acting as the branch president.
